										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="JUSTIFY"><strong>Development of high-sustainability vinyl compounds.</strong></p>
<p>Under the umbrella of &#8216;Iberoeka&#8217; programme for technological cooperation between Latin American companies, the BIOVIPLAS project has been created for the development of new formulations of PVC-based biocomposites. The project’s objectives are directed towards the reduction of mineral carbon content, with less dependence on fossil sources.</p>
<p>Progress on the project has enabled the development of two high-sustainability, phthalate- and heavy metal-free vinyl compounds, with a specific % of carbon obtained from renewable sources. Both PVC compounds have been registered and certified by the United States’ Department of Agriculture, in accordance with the BioPreferred ® program.</p>
<p>Cygsa currently collaborates with prestigious companies in the footwear sector on the marketing of these “eco-friendly” products.</p>
