The project\u2019s objectives are directed towards the reduction of mineral carbon content, with less dependence on fossil sources.<\/p>\n<p>Progress on the project has enabled the development of two high-sustainability, phthalate- and heavy metal-free vinyl compounds, with a specific % of carbon obtained from renewable sources. Both PVC compounds have been registered and certified by the United States\u2019 Department of Agriculture, in accordance with the BioPreferred \u00ae program.<\/p>\n<p>Cygsa currently collaborates with prestigious companies in the footwear sector on the marketing of these \u201ceco-friendly\u201d products.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Development of high-sustainability vinyl compounds.
